Missions work is not about ”doing stuff for God”, but rather about joining God in his work. When he begins to move, we should focus our resources and energy in the same direction.
In 1996, God gave Word of Life a vision about the Middle East. This book describes the realization of that vision as seen through the eyes and experiences of Ville Männistö, who takes us along on his journey, beginning in Afghanistan and eventually leading to Iraq.
Through stories about humanitarian teamwork, miracles of Bible Schools being started and Bible distribution using drones, as well as the background of ISIS and testimonies from a safe house for former sex slaves, Ville weaves a colorful tapestry of God´s handiwork and faithfulness through Word of Life´s missions work in this actually significant part of the world.
