“What do you think Ville, could your church help the children in the orphanages?” the North Korean Ambassador asked. It took me a couple of seconds to think about it before I replied: “Yes, I think it would be possible”
This book looks at North Korea in a way that most books don’t —through the eyes of faith. Ville Männistö takes us on a journey from his prayer for North Korea as a teenager, to the fulfilment of that dream.
Ville’s insight into the situations he comes up against is refreshing and eye opening. This book tells us something about the everyday life, struggles and dreams of ordinary North Koreans, as well as about the projects and involvement of the Word of Life Church in Uppsala, Sweden.
This book will encourage you, as you see what God can do – even in a closed country. Let’s take that with us into our everyday lives; that God can open doors, even to people’s hearts around us.
